From its inception, Pub Beer has what it is. It has been what 10 Barrel employees and consumers wanted. If it didn’t strike a chord with the employees or if it wasn’t cool to us, then why waste your time trying to convince others? What you see is what you get… no bullshit. This mentality is reflected in the packaging, artwork, Ad Campaigns and videos.
With a bold and unique look that stand out in the Off Premise and On Premis, Pub Beer catches the consumer’s eye.
Created a Wizard Staff inspired tap handle with Taphandles.com to support on premise. This design went to go on and win best tap handle at the CBMAs.

In October 2014, Pub Beer was officially sold to the public. However, its birth was a year prior when the 10 Barrel Brew Team was tired of drinking our competitors' light lagers as a break from IPAs. The bright idea of using our equipment to brew a light lager of our own quickly became a reality, and a blank white can with nothing but the words ‘Pub Beer’ was now jokingly referred to as our ‘Employee Beer’. Stashed away in our coolers and only available at our Pub location, Pub Beer began to build a cult following for those who needed a break from our usual hop bombs. The tanks were frequently refilled with Pub Beer to keep up with the small demand, while our Sales Team simultaneously prepared to introduce one of the first ‘Craft Lagers’ in the market.
Over the years, Pub Beer has organically picked up steam and, locally, taken market share from PBR, Rainier, Oympia and Coors Light. As our PODs grew, so has the brand and, state by state, Pub Beer has become the go-to cheap light lager. With little to no support, Pub Beer was built on its own and we’re excited to step it up a notch and see what it can do in future. It’s time for some CHEAP FUN.
